What can/do I need to bring when my dog(s) boarding?

The in house kennel diet for the dogs is the Iams minichunks chicken and whole grain blend. For cats we offer Iams Healthy Adult Chicken. If your pet(s) eat the kennel diet, you do not need to bring food.

If they do not eat the kennel diet, be sure to bring your pet(s) food and any medications, if needed.  We have a refrigerator and freezer for any food/ medication that needs to be refrigerated. Food may be brought in original packaging, food container, Ziploc bags, etc. any way you’d like to transport it.

Please leave all medications in the original packaging/prescription bottle. If we need to go to the emergency vet for any reason they need to know what the prescription and dosage is.

Additional things you may bring:

  • Bedding/blankets/beds/cots
  • Slow feed bowl (if used)
  • Chew toys/bones
  • Special treats (if sensitive stomach or prefer your own)

If your dog chews/eats any bedding or blankets, we will take them away to avoid any ingestion/ blockage issues.

What NOT to bring

  •  Bowls (unless using a slow-feed bowl)
  • Rawhides, no-hides, busy bones
  • Socks
  • Bones/antlers that are too small for your dog(s) size·
  • Bully sticks
